CBD Punjab CEO reviews progress on key projects, directs expedited completion of ongoing works

The Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), Imran Amin, visited key ongoing projects of CBD Punjab, including CBD Walk, The Second Walk, and CBD NSIT City and reviewed the progress of development and construction activities.

CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin was accompanied by Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, Director Engineering Omar Hayat, Director Architecture & Planning Sameer Aftab Sial, Project Manager CBD NSIT City Yasir Saifullah, senior officials of CBD Punjab, representatives of NESPAK, and project contractors.

During his visit to CBD Walk, the CEO CBD Punjab, was briefed on the ongoing finishing works. The project team informed him that tile work on the floors and travertine installation on the elevations is nearing completion. Reviewing the overall progress, Imran Amin directed the concerned teams to maintain the pace of work and ensure timely completion of the remaining activities. He also ordered the commencement of asphalt work at the entrance of CBD Walk to further enhance access and the overall appearance of the project.

The CEO CBD Punjab also reviewed the ongoing development and upgradation works at CBD Lake and directed the project teams to complete the remaining works on an immediate basis and make the facility functional at the earliest.

Imran Amin subsequently visited CBD NSIT City, Pakistan’s largest and first IT city, where he reviewed the progress of various development components. The project team briefed him on the progress of the main entrance gate, informing that its primary structural works are nearing completion.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin said, “CBD Punjab is committed to delivering world-class urban infrastructure that reflects Lahore’s potential as a modern business and technology hub. Our focus is not only on completing projects but on ensuring quality, functionality and timely delivery. All teams have been directed to accelerate the remaining works and maintain the highest standards of construction and finishing.”

The CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin directed all concerned departments, consultants and contractors to ensure close coordination, resolve any outstanding issues promptly, and maintain the momentum of development across CBD Punjab’s flagship projects
