Residents along the India-Pakistan border near the Poonch district endured a tense night as persistent bombing echoed through the region. According to local sources, heavy cross-border bombing continued throughout the night and only saw a brief reduction around 4:30 AM.

However, the calm was short-lived. At approximately 5:30 AM, intense bombing and firing resumed with increased force along the border areas. The exchange of fire has raised concerns among civilians living near the Line of Control (LoC).

2 casualties have been confirmed so far, but authorities are closely monitoring the situation and advising residents to stay indoors. Security forces remain on high alert as the situation unfolds.
