The second ODI game between India and England at the Barabati Stadium faced an unexpected delay due to a floodlight failure on Sunday.
India, chasing a target of 305, made a strong start as openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill put on 48 runs in just 37 balls.
However, the match was halted in the sixth over when one of the floodlights malfunctioned, forcing a stoppage of play for nearly 30 minutes.

Earlier, England, after winning the toss and electing to bat, posted a competitive total of 304, thanks to a brilliant batting display from Joe Root.
The right-handed experienced batter led the scoring with a steady 69, while Ben Duckett contributed 65 before falling in the 15th over.
Liam Livingstone added late impetus with 41 before being run out in the final over.
For India, Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers, claiming three wickets in his ten-over spell while Hardik Pandya and Varun Chakravarthy chipped in with one wicket each.
It is worth noting that the home side entered the ODI series with momentum, having dominated England in the preceding T20I series.
In the opening ODI, The Blue Shirts secured a four-wicket victory, driven by Shubman Gill’s 87 and Shreyas Iyer’s composed 59 while chasing 249.
