US Plan Proposes New Future for Gaza

A new proposal from the United States suggests rebuilding war-torn Gaza into a modern and high-tech coastal destination over the next 20 years. The plan has been shared with several countries that could help fund the project.

The rebuilding project would focus on turning Gaza into a luxury coastal city with advanced infrastructure, modern housing, and business hubs. The aim is to improve living conditions and create long-term economic opportunities for the region.

The proposal estimates a cost of $112 billion in the first 10 years alone. This funding would come from international donors, private investors, and supportive governments. The full development is planned to continue over two decades, allowing gradual growth and stability.

The project was developed over the past 45 days by a team led by Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, along with Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff. Their focus was to design a plan that combines economic growth with modern urban planning.

Supporters of the idea believe rebuilding Gaza in this way could bring jobs, investment, and hope to a region that has suffered from years of conflict. New ports, resorts, technology centers, and clean energy projects are expected to be part of the vision.

However, the proposal also raises serious questions. Many experts say that political stability, security, and local consent are essential before any such plan can succeed. Without lasting peace, rebuilding efforts may face major challenges.

For now, the plan is still in its early stages. Discussions with donor countries are ongoing, and no final decision has been made. The future of Gaza will depend not only on funding but also on cooperation, peace, and the wishes of the people living there.

The proposal highlights a bold vision, but turning it into reality will require time, trust, and global support.
