A fun-filled evening at a theme park in Taif turned into chaos after an amusement ride suddenly collapsed, injuring over 20 people. The ride, named “360 Degrees,” malfunctioned during its operation at Green Mountain Park in the Hada area.

Footage circulating online captured the chilling moment when the ride broke apart without warning. Visitors who had been laughing seconds earlier were thrown into panic as the structure failed mid-swing.

According to local media, the ride’s rotating arm detached, causing passengers to fall and parts of the structure to strike others nearby. Several suffered serious injuries due to the force of the collapse.

Witnesses described a scene of confusion, with people screaming and rushing to help the injured. Medical teams responded swiftly, while hospitals in Taif were placed on alert to receive the wounded.

Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation to determine whether mechanical failure, poor maintenance, or operator error caused the accident.
