Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has recently made an announcement that pilgrims will only be allowed to perform Umrah once during the holy month of Ramadan. This decision aims to provide equal opportunities to all pilgrims who wish to perform Umrah during Ramadan and ensure that they can perform the rituals comfortably and with ease.

To perform Umrah, pilgrims need to obtain a permit from the Nusuk app, and they must adhere to the specified time given on their permit. It is essential that they do not try to amend the Umrah date, but if required, they can delete their appointment via the Nusuk app before entering the permitted time and then issue a new permit.

The ministry has confirmed that the appointment dates are updated periodically. If pilgrims do not find a suitable reservation date, they can search for another date later on. This measure ensures that all pilgrims who wish to perform Umrah during Ramadan get an equal opportunity to do so.

The decision is a significant step towards facilitating the Umrah pilgrimage during the holy month of Ramadan. It is also in line with Saudi Arabia’s vision of enhancing the comfort and convenience of pilgrims and ensuring that holy sites are accessible to all.

In conclusion, the decision by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to allow pilgrims to perform Umrah only once during Ramadan is a welcome move. It ensures that all pilgrims get a fair chance to perform the rituals comfortably and with ease. It is an essential step towards facilitating the Umrah pilgrimage during the holy month and making it accessible to all. The decision reinforces Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing the best possible services to pilgrims and ensuring their comfort and convenience.
