PIA confirmed that its Lahore–Paris service will be discontinued due to low demand, with final flights scheduled for September 12 and 17. The Islamabad–Paris route will continue to operate.

In other developments, PIA launched direct flights from Lahore to Baku, Azerbaijan, to expand international routes and promote tourism. Flight PK-159 departed Lahore with 152 passengers, marked by a brief ceremony attended by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Khazar Farhadov, and senior aviation officials.
