In a strongly worded address following the U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, President Donald Trump declared that Iran now faces a choice between “peace or disaster.”
Speaking from Washington, Trump confirmed that American forces struck Iran’s key nuclear enrichment sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan — in a calculated military operation designed to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program.
“Our goal was to eliminate Iran’s nuclear enrichment capabilities. These facilities have been destroyed,” said President Trump.

Trump cited Iran’s decades-long anti-American and anti-Israeli stance as justification for the action. He referenced the deaths of thousands of U.S. personnel and civilians due to Iranian-backed violence, including the use of roadside bombs and attacks orchestrated by Iranian generals such as Qassem Soleimani.
“For 40 years, Iran has been chanting ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel.’ They killed our people, blew off limbs with roadside bombs. We lost over a thousand lives. Their hatred has caused deaths across the Middle East and the world,” Trump said.
He added, “I had decided long ago that this must not continue, and I will not let it happen again.”
The U.S. President expressed his appreciation for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, highlighting the joint nature of the operation. He commended the Israeli military for their efforts and praised U.S. pilots and forces for executing what he called a “historic” mission.

“This was an operation the world has not witnessed in decades. I hope the need for such action by U.S. forces does not arise again,” he concluded.
“For 40 years, Iran has been chanting ‘Death to America, Death to Israel.’ They have killed our people. Their use of roadside bombs tore off the arms and legs of our soldiers. This was their trademark. We have lost over a thousand people. Thousands more have died across the Middle East and the world because of their hatred. Many were killed by their General Qassem Soleimani. I decided long ago that this will not continue. I will not allow it to happen again.”
“I thank the Israeli Prime Minister and congratulate him. We worked as a team and eliminated the threat facing Israel. I thank the Israeli army for their outstanding work. I also congratulate our American pilots and armed forces. They executed an operation the world hasn’t seen in decades. I hope there is no need for our military to carry out such operations again.”
