A tenth wave of Iranian missile strikes targeted Israeli military installations and key urban zones early Tuesday, escalating a rapidly intensifying conflict between the two arch-rivals. The attacks come in retaliation for Israel’s continued air assaults on Iranian infrastructure, which have left dozens of civilians dead.
The Israeli Defence Minister, Israel Katz, issued a stern warning in response, comparing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to Saddam Hussein, the former Iraqi dictator ousted and executed following the 2003 U.S.-led invasion.
“I warn the Iranian dictator against continuing to commit war crimes and launching missiles at Israeli civilians,” Katz said, adding, “He would do well to remember the fate of the dictator in the country neighbouring Iran who chose this same path against the state of Israel.”

Iranian officials claim their latest missile wave targeted Israeli military hubs in retaliation for repeated Israeli airstrikes that began Friday. Iranian media outlets report dozens of civilian casualties, including women and children, as hospitals, homes, and public facilities came under fire.
In a direct threat, Katz reiterated that “military and regime targets in Tehran” would continue to be hit, and urged civilians in the Iranian capital to evacuate. This marks one of the most direct confrontations between the two nations in recent years.

Amid the escalating violence, Iran launched a diplomatic offensive against the G7 nations, accusing them of ignoring Israeli aggression and failing to uphold international law.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, condemned the G7 summit’s joint statement from Canada, which backed Israel’s right to self-defense while calling for de-escalation.
“The G7 member states must assume their legal and moral responsibility for this blatant act of aggression against a UN member state,” Baghaei said.
He criticized Western powers—especially permanent UN Security Council members—for what he described as “one-sided diplomacy”. Iran continues to argue that it is acting in self-defense.
As the crisis intensifies, Iran’s Ministry of Health has placed the nation’s healthcare system on high alert. Deputy Health Minister Seyed Sajjad Razavi announced that all leave for doctors and nurses has been cancelled, requiring medical personnel to remain on active duty in anticipation of mass-casualty events.
“The Ministry of Health stands with you and is ready to provide support and assistance should any need arise,” Razavi said, urging healthcare workers to maintain psychological and operational readiness.
Hospitals and medical universities have been issued emergency treatment protocols in preparation for further Israeli strikes on Iranian soil.

Analysts now warn that the conflict may soon spill beyond conventional military targets, with cyber operations, economic sabotage, and regional militias potentially entering the fray. The 10th wave of Iranian missile retaliation highlights the intensity and frequency of strikes not seen in the region in over a decade.
With both nations escalating their rhetoric and actions, international mediators have called for immediate restraint, fearing a full-scale regional war that could destabilize the Middle East and global energy markets.
