Users across Pakistan are struggling with poor internet performance as several Internet Service Providers, including Nayatel and PTCL, confirm ongoing network disruptions. The breakdown, which surfaced earlier this week, has impacted both browsing and access to widely used digital platforms.
Nayatel, in a technical note to users, reported that an issue with one of its upstream internet partners is causing interruptions in eastbound international traffic, leading to slower speeds and dropped connections.
In a related development, Microsoft services such as Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive have been hit by outages nationwide. The downtime has affected remote work and communication tools across offices and institutions.

At the same time, websites using Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery have become inaccessible or significantly slower. These combined failures are said to be overlapping but unrelated, creating a complicated scenario for engineers to untangle.
Other major ISPs have also admitted to facing similar complaints, confirming that the disruption is more widespread than initially thought. Technical teams from various companies are currently working to address the multiple failures, but there is still no clear timeline for when normal service will resume.
