Babar Azam has been honored with the ICC T20I Team of the Year cap for 2024, marking another milestone in his distinguished career.

Babar Azam began the year in style with three successive half-centuries against New Zealand, setting the tone for a remarkable campaign.

The former captain amassed 738 runs across 24 T20I matches, averaging 33.54, with six fifties and a highest score of 75.

It is worth noting the Lahore-born cricketer is the only Pakistani cricketer included in the lineup of the year 2024.

Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma leads the side, joined by teammates Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Arshdeep Singh.

Travis Head, Phil Salt, Nicholas Pooran, Sikandar Raza, Rashid Khan, and Wanindu Hasaranga complete the eleven.
