Quetta Gladiators secured a 30-run victory over defending champions Islamabad United on Wednesday at Gaddafi Stadium, sealing their place in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 final after a collective show with both bat and ball.
Chasing a daunting 210-run target, United were bowled out for 179 in the final over. Their innings began poorly, with Alex Hales departing for a duck in the second over.
Rassie van der Dussen and Sahibzada Farhan tried to steady the chase, adding 71 for the second wicket before van der Dussen was removed for 35.

Farhan top-scored for his side with a brisk 52 off 35 balls, but his dismissal led to a middle-order collapse.
Usman Tariq played a key role in breaking United’s momentum, taking 3 for 32. He also struck a decisive double blow in the 18th over, removing both Salman Ali Agha (44) and Naseem Shah.
Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Wasim Jr wrapped up the tail, securing Quetta’s first PSL final appearance since 2019.
