Pakistani players have dropped in the latest ICC ODI rankings following their disappointing performances in the tri-nation series and ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Fakhar Zaman, who returned to the ODI during the tri-series, played just one match against New Zealand before being ruled out due to injury, leading to his fall from 17th to 19th with 621 points.
ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan slipped to 21st with 616 points, while Imam-ul-Haq retained 32nd.
Injured opener Saim Ayub dropped to 37th, and Salman Ali Agha remains Pakistan’s highest-ranked middle-order batter at 46th.
Shubman Gill maintained his No.1 ranking, while Virat Kohli climbed to fourth after his match-winning knock in India’s semi-final win.
Babar Azam stayed second with 770 points, and South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen held third.
Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi retained ninth in the bowling rankings, despite struggling in the Champions Trophy, while Haris Rauf fell to 24th. Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed also slipped.
Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai surged to No.1 in the all-rounder rankings after a stellar Champions Trophy, overtaking teammate Mohammad Nabi. India’s Axar Patel made a notable jump to 13th.
