The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed its 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, which will take place from July 20 to 24 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Salman Ali Agha will continue as captain, with the squad featuring several emerging players aiming to secure permanent spots in Pakistan’s T20 setup. The selection committee has once again overlooked senior names like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi, instead opting to provide more exposure to rising talent.

All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz and spinner Sufiyan Muqeem have been recalled, while pacer Ahmed Daniyal has been added to the international squad. The move signals a clear intention by selectors to test bench strength ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026.

The team will be coached by Mike Hesson, with Ashley Noffke (bowling), Muhammad Hanif Malik (batting), and Shane McDermott (fielding) as part of the support staff. The PCB noted that the squad for the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies will be announced separately.

This three-match series is expected to provide vital match practice and a platform for new faces to impress the selectors. For Salman Ali Agha, it represents another opportunity to prove himself as a long-term T20 captain.
