The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled its latest team rankings, revealing significant changes in the standings across all formats. While Australia and India maintain their top spots in Tests and white-ball cricket, respectively, Pakistan has experienced a decline, and Sri Lanka has seen a remarkable rise.

In the Men’s Test rankings, Australia remain at the top with a rating of 126, although their lead has narrowed slightly from 15 to 13 points. England, under captain Ben Stokes, have surged into second place after a successful year, winning three out of their last four series. Their rating of 113 has pushed South Africa (111) and India (105) down to third and fourth, respectively. The top 10 in Tests remains largely unchanged, with New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe holding their positions.

In One-Day Internationals (ODIs), India strengthened their position at the top after winning the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. Their rating increased to 124, while New Zealand moved into second place, overtaking Australia, now in third. Sri Lanka made significant progress, climbing to fourth after defeating both India and Australia in recent series. Pakistan, with a slight gain, dropped to fifth, while South Africa fell to sixth. Afghanistan saw a rise to seventh, pushing England down to eighth.

In T20 Internationals, India continue to hold the top spot, although their lead over second-placed Australia has decreased. England, the 2022 World Cup champions, sit third, with New Zealand, West Indies, and South Africa following. Sri Lanka continued their upward trend, reaching seventh and overtaking Pakistan, who dropped to eighth.

Meanwhile, teams outside the top 10, including Canada, Bahamas, and Estonia, recorded notable gains, with Canada climbing into the top 20.
