The match, held at Mullanpur Stadium in Chandigarh, saw Virat Kohli lead the chase with a calm and composed unbeaten 73 from 54 balls.
Kohli’s efforts, combined with Devdutt Padikkal’s fiery 61 off 35 balls, helped RCB chase down the 158-run target with ease. The pair’s 103-run partnership laid the foundation for the victory. Kohli’s innings also earned him a new IPL milestone — surpassing David Warner’s record for most 50-plus scores in the tournament. Kohli now holds 67 such scores, including 51 fifties and 6 centuries.
