Karachi Kings Thrash Multan Sultans

Karachi Kings clinched a dominant 87-run victory over Multan Sultans in the 20th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, effectively ending the Sultans’ chances of advancing in the tournament.

Opting to bat first, the Kings posted a strong total of 204 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs, powered by an impressive knock from James Vince. The English batter remained unbeaten on 65 off 45 balls, including five boundaries and two sixes. Middle-order contributions from Muhammad Irfan Khan (40) and Khushdil Shah (33) further bolstered the total, ensuring a competitive target.

In response, Multan’s chase quickly unraveled. The Sultans could only manage a mere 117 runs in 16.1 overs, sealing their fate with an early exit from the competition. Karachi’s bowlers were clinical, and despite Ubaid Shah taking two wickets for the Sultans, he conceded 49 runs in his four overs. Curtis Campher and David Willey claimed one scalp each.
