Lahore: The personal life of former Pakistani all-rounder Imad Wasim has come under public scrutiny after his wife, Sannia Ashfaq, shared a cryptic Instagram post that is fueling ongoing rumors of separation.
Taking to her Instagram story, Sannia wrote:
“Silence should not be considered as consent or lack of evidence. I am just choosing the right time after thinking carefully.”
The statement has intensified public speculation about the status of the couple’s marriage, especially in light of recent rumors linking Imad Wasim to social media influencer Naila Raja.

Further adding to the speculation, Sannia Ashfaq has removed all photographs featuring Imad from her Instagram profile. She has also updated her bio, which earlier read “Imad Wasim’s wife”, and now states only:
“Anaya Imad and Rayan Imad’s mother.”
In contrast, Imad Wasim’s own Instagram account still includes pictures with Sannia, and the couple continues to follow each other online.
Earlier this month, Sannia had shared an emotional post following the birth of her son, Zayan. She wrote:
“I carried you alone in my womb for 9 months. May Allah give me more strength for the journey ahead.”
The absence of Imad’s name in this post also contributed to growing public suspicion about a possible rift between the couple.

The controversy stems from a viral video showing Imad Wasim walking alongside a woman in London, whom social media users identified as Naila Raja.
In response, Naila strongly denied the rumors and issued a public statement:
“I am also a woman, and I have built my life with dignity, hard work, and self-restraint. Please stop making baseless assumptions.”
She condemned the online abuse directed at her and her family, emphasizing the unfair social scrutiny women face:
“Why are women always judged more harshly when it comes to honour and morality?”
As of now, Imad Wasim has not made any public comment regarding the allegations or his relationship status.
The couple, who were once frequently seen together in public and on social media, have remained silent amid increasing speculation.
