The captains’ conference for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) saw a partial turnout, with five out of six team captains attending.
Karachi Kings’ David Warner, however, was notably absent from the event.
Representing their teams at the media gathering were Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans), Shaheen Shah Afridi (Lahore Qalandars), Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi), Shadab Khan (Islamabad United), and Saud Shakeel (Quetta Gladiators).
In Warner’s absence, newly appointed vice-captain Hasan Ali attended on behalf of Karachi Kings.

The Australian star opted to skip the conference to focus on a practice session with his team.
With the previous day’s training cancelled, Warner chose to utilise the extra time to assess his squad in an intra-squad match before the season opener.
The 10th season of PSL is set to begin on Friday, April 11, 2025, with defending champions Islamabad United taking on Lahore Qalandars in the opening match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Karachi Kings will begin their campaign the next day, April 12, with a home fixture against Multan Sultans at National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
Karachi Kings’ squad for PSL 10 includes notable players such as Warner, Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, James Vince, Khushdil Shah, and Kane Williamson, among others.
The team will look to build on a mix of seasoned international talent and emerging stars as they aim for success in the upcoming tournament.
With a revamped leadership structure and a squad full of potential, the Kings are determined to make a strong impact in this milestone season of the PSL.
