Bangladesh Cricket Star Tamim Iqbal Suffers Heart Attack During Match

Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal suffered a heart attack on Monday morning while playing in a Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League match.

The incident occurred in Savar, near Dhaka, where he was immediately taken to a hospital for urgent medical attention.

Tamim was representing Mohammedan Sporting Club against Shinepukur Cricket Club when he complained of chest pain.

Initially, arrangements were made to transport him to Dhaka by helicopter, but due to logistical issues, he had to be rushed to Fazilatunnesa Hospital instead.

According to Bangladesh Cricket Board’s chief physician, Dr. Debashish Chowdhury, initial medical assessments suggested minor heart complications.

However, Tamim’s condition worsened while being taken to the helipad, forcing an immediate return to the hospital.

Further tests later confirmed that he had suffered a serious heart attack.

Doctors are closely monitoring his health, and his family is on their way to the hospital.

The cricketing community and fans are deeply concerned, hoping for his swift recovery.
