Singapore has announced $50,000 in humanitarian aid for victims of the recent floods in Pakistan. The pledge will serve as seed money to support the Singapore Red Cross fundraising campaign for flood relief efforts.

The Singapore government’s contribution comes in addition to the Red Cross’s own pledge of $50,000 and a further $39,000 commitment, aimed at helping families and communities affected by the disaster. The Singapore foreign ministry also expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
Pakistan’s embassy in Singapore welcomed the support, calling it a gesture of solidarity during this difficult time.
