The initiative, introduced by the Sindh Transport Department, follows earlier projects such as the Pink Bus Service and electric buses for women. Bilawal said the program will make commuting easier and create more opportunities for women, stressing that empowering women is vital for the progress of society and the economy.

He also announced the launch of a “Pink Taxis Scheme,” which will offer safe travel and job opportunities for women across the province. Quoting Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Bilawal said no nation can succeed without women working alongside men.

Bilawal praised KFC Pakistan for supporting women with training and licences for the scooters and urged other private companies to join similar public-private partnerships.
