The duration of fasting will vary from day to day, with the first day of fasting lasting around 12 hours and 29 minutes and the last day lasting approximately 13 hours and 28 minutes.

Ramadan 2026 is expected to begin on the evening of Tuesday, February 17, or Wednesday, February 18, 2026, with the first fasting day being Wednesday, February 18, or Thursday, February 19, 2026. The holy month is anticipated to last for 30 days, concluding on the evening of Thursday, March 19, 2026. Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, is expected to be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Ramadan is a time for spiritual growth, self-reflection, and community. It’s also essential to plan for Eid al-Fitr, including giving Zakat al-Fitr to support those in need .Muslims can start preparing by setting spiritual goals, focusing on increasing acts of worship, Quran recitation, and charity. Building a routine around prayer, rest, and beneficial activities will also help make the most of this blessed month. By increasing devotion and engaging in extra worship, prayer, and supplication, especially during the last ten nights of Ramadan, Muslims can deepen their connection with Allah .May Allah make this Ramadan a month of blessings for us. (Amin)
