The announcement was made through a social media post stating, “The wait’s almost over. Get ready for the grand distribution, starting on October 30 in Islamabad. Stay tuned as we come to your region next.”

The distribution marks the beginning of a nationwide rollout under the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, which aims to equip students with digital tools to enhance their learning and skill development.
After the Islamabad launch, the program will expand to other regions across the country. Thousands of university and college students are expected to receive laptops during this phase.
