Eidul Adha in Pakistan will be observed on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee earlier confirmed that the Zil Hajj moon was not sighted on May 27, leading to this date.

Following approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the federal government has decided on a four-day public holiday for Eid, from June 6 to June 9. An official notification is expected to be issued soon by the cabinet division.

The moon-sighting meeting was held in Islamabad, where the committee stated that no credible sightings were reported from any major cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta.
