Official Date Announced for Pakistan’s Free Laptop Distribution

The Prime Minister’s Youth Program has officially announced that the free laptop distribution drive will begin on October 30, 2025, in Islamabad. The announcement was made through a social media post stating, “The wait’s almost over. Get ready for the grand distribution, starting on October 30 in Islamabad. Stay tuned as we come to your region next.”

The distribution marks the beginning of a nationwide rollout under the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, which aims to equip students with digital tools to enhance their learning and skill development.

After the Islamabad launch, the program will expand to other regions across the country. Thousands of university and college students are expected to receive laptops during this phase.

Officials said more details about the schedule and regional plan will be shared soon. Senior government representatives are expected to attend the inaugural event in Islamabad alongside students from various educational institutions.
