The Central Executive Committee of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) convened under the leadership of party president Abdul Aleem Khan to deliberate on current political developments, organizational affairs, and upcoming electoral strategies. During the meeting, Khan commended the Pakistan Army and its leadership, acknowledging their professionalism and sacrifices that, according to him, elevated Pakistan’s global image following the Bunyanun Marsus operation. He urged party leaders to visit the families of martyrs and extend support to flood-affected communities.

Khan emphasized the importance of unity within the party, noting the significance of IPP’s representation with eight members in the assemblies. He highlighted the fluid nature of political conditions and urged leaders to adopt a proactive stance.
The committee expressed satisfaction over the successful intra-party elections and the endorsement by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Discussions included the prompt appointment of central and provincial office bearers, while some participants raised concerns about the Punjab government’s performance.It was resolved that the IPP would contest by-elections in Lahore and other constituencies following internal consultations. The party also decided to hold its next major convention in Faisalabad and participate actively in upcoming elections in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Party members proposed introducing farmer-friendly policies to support the agricultural sector. Senior leaders including Rana Nazir Ahmed, Mian Khalid Mahmood, Syed Samsam Bukhari, Norez Shakoor, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Nauman Langrial, and others attended. Notable attendees also included Minister of State Aun Chaudhry, MNAs Munazza Hassan and Gul Asghar Baghour, MPAs Sarah Ahmed and Syeda Sameera Ahmed, former MPA Haroon Gul, Col Hashim Dogar, Malik Zaman Naseeb, Chaudhry Abdul Rauf, Farukh Maneka, Tahseen Gardezi, and Yasir Arafat.
