Gujrat city in Punjab has faced very heavy rain, with 506 millimeters falling in just 20 hours. The nonstop downpour has caused serious flooding in many areas.

Drains and waterways could not handle the water, and important roads like Qamar Sialvi Road and Katchery Road went completely underwater. WAPDA Colony was also flooded, and the Bhimber Nullah rose to dangerous levels, creating big risks for people living nearby.
The situation was not limited to Gujarat. Shakargarh and Zafarwal also faced flooding. In Abbottabad, fast-moving water caused flash floods that destroyed a bridge. This cut off access to nearby villages and left many residents stuck.

Weather officials have warned that heavy rain is likely to continue until September 5. People in the affected areas are being asked to stay alert and take safety measures to protect themselves.
