Under the first phase of the program for fiscal year 2025–26, the government will provide subsidies for 40,000 electric motorcycles, 1,000 electric rickshaws, and 1,000 electric cars. Subsidy amounts are Rs. 20,000 for motorcycles, Rs. 80,000 for rickshaws, and Rs. 290,000 for cars, with a total budget of Rs. 880 million.

The program targets students, factory workers, women, rural residents, low-income individuals, and persons with disabilities to help them access affordable transport. Interested applicants must submit their applications online at www.pave.gov.pk, including a valid CNIC, driving license (where applicable), and other required documents. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2025.

Selection of beneficiaries will be conducted through a digital balloting process to ensure transparency. The initiative is part of the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification Program (PAVE) and will be implemented under the supervision of the Engineering Development Board.
