A 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck parts of Karachi once again on Monday morning, marking the fourth seismic activity in the city within the last 24 hours.
The Seismic Monitoring Centre reported that the tremors were recorded at 11:03 AM and were felt in areas including Landhi, Malir, Quaidabad, and Port Qasim. The earthquake had a shallow depth of 10 kilometers, with Quaidabad identified as the epicentre.
Though no damage or casualties have been reported so far, the sudden tremors triggered brief panic among residents in the affected localities.

Authorities have urged citizens to stay calm and vigilant in anticipation of possible aftershocks. Emergency teams are on alert, and the public has been advised to follow official guidelines during seismic events.
Earlier tremors were also reported late Sunday evening, with another earthquake measuring 3.2 magnitude at a depth of 12 kilometers, originating near Gadap Town. Local witnesses said the shaking lasted between 6 to 7 seconds, causing fear and uncertainty among the public.
Karachi, which lies near minor fault lines, has been experiencing an unusual frequency of low-intensity earthquakes, raising concerns about urban preparedness and structural safety.
