Chief of the Army Staff General Asim Munir, during his recent visit to Balochistan’s Awaran district, emphasized the intrinsic link between the success of Balochistan and that of Pakistan. Acknowledging the resilience and bravery of the people of Balochistan in the face of challenges, General Munir expressed pride in their unwavering spirit. He reiterated the commitment of the Armed Forces of Pakistan and Law Enforcement Agencies to continue supporting the people of Balochistan in their pursuit of peace and prosperity.

In his interactions with local elders, farmers, and families of fallen heroes, General Munir assured them of the Army’s unwavering dedication to ensuring their security and well-being. He paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the Shuhada, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the nation. Furthermore, General Munir highlighted the significance of agriculture during discussions with notables and farmers in Awaran, emphasizing the Army’s support for the Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI).

The COAS outlined plans to provide farmers with comprehensive agricultural facilities, including easy access to agricultural loans, seeds, fertilizers, solar tube wells, and expert guidance. This initiative aims to empower farmers to cultivate their lands effectively and contribute significantly to Pakistan’s progress and development. Additionally, General Munir inaugurated Cadet College Awaran, commending the establishment as a vital educational institution for the local community.

General Asim Munir reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to ongoing development and relief efforts in Balochistan through collaborative initiatives with civil departments. His visit underscored the importance of fostering sustainable growth and prosperity in Balochistan as an integral part of Pakistan’s overall success.
