Abid Sher Ali, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), showered praise on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during a press conference, highlighting Sharif’s contributions to the country’s progress and expressing optimism about his return. Abid Sher Ali, joined by fellow PML-N member Chaudhry Iqbal, emphasized that Nawaz Sharif had played a pivotal role in ushering in an era of prosperity and addressing critical issues facing Pakistan.

Ali commended Nawaz Sharif for his role in ending the menace of terrorism and resolving power outages in the country. He also criticized former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, attributing the toppling of the PML-N-led government to him.

Regarding Nawaz Sharif’s impending return, Ali reiterated that Sharif would arrive in Lahore on October 21 and that the PML-N, under his leadership, would engage with the nation’s 260 million people at the historic Minare-e-Pakistan. He expressed confidence in Nawaz Sharif’s ability to guide the country out of its current challenges.

Chaudhry Iqbal, another PML-N leader, emphasized Nawaz Sharif’s pivotal role in making Pakistan an atomic power and viewed Sharif’s return as a “ray of hope” for the nation.

Maryam Nawaz, the PML-N’s Chief Organiser, also echoed these sentiments, stating that Nawaz Sharif would lead the country out of its economic challenges upon his return. She presided over a consultative meeting of the party’s minority wing, where representatives from Christian, Sikh, and Hindu communities were present.

Abid Sher Ali’s accolades for Nawaz Sharif’s leadership and his optimistic outlook on Sharif’s return reflect the sentiment within the PML-N regarding Sharif’s role in addressing Pakistan’s challenges and fostering prosperity.
