The Deputy Commissioner of Upper Dir has issued a notification announcing the closure of educational institutions in the district due to heavy rain and snowfall. The recent spell of inclement weather has resulted in road blockages, making it challenging for students to commute to school.

In light of these extreme weather conditions and at the request of the District Education Officer Dir Upper, all government and private schools will remain closed until Friday, March 8, 2024. This decision has been made in the best interest of the general public to ensure their safety and well-being during this period of adverse weather conditions.
