Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz recently paid a visit to the residence of the late Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali Shaheed in Chaklala, Rawalpindi, to honor his supreme sacrifice for the nation. Lt. Col. Syed Kashif Ali Shaheed tragically lost his life in a terrorist attack in Mir Ali Tehsil of North Waziristan. During her visit, Maryam Nawaz expressed heartfelt condolences to the Shaheed’s mother, acknowledging the immense pride and honor brought by her son’s bravery not only to her but to the entire nation.
In a touching moment, the Chief Minister emphasized the invaluable role played by the courageous sons of the soil in safeguarding the nation’s safety, peace, and security, referring to them as the iron wall of defense.
