Internet Services Suspended in Quetta for 24 Hours

The Home Department has announced that 3G and 4G internet services in Quetta district will be temporarily suspended due to security concerns. According to the notification, the decision has been made to maintain law and order and to handle possible threats in the area.

The suspension will begin at 12 midnight on Friday, October 31, and will continue for 24 hours. During this time, all mobile internet and data services will remain unavailable across the entire district.

The move is precautionary, aiming to ensure peace and public safety during sensitive situations. Although the decision may cause inconvenience to residents, the authorities say it is a necessary step to prevent any unwanted incidents.

People in Quetta have been advised to complete any important online work in advance, as mobile internet will not be accessible until the service is restored.

The government has assured that internet services will resume as soon as the security situation returns to normal. This step, though temporary, highlights the government’s focus on public safety and maintaining stability in the region.
