The Lahore High Court (LHC) has received a submission from the police detailing the cases filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Fawad Chaudhry, including eleven First Information Reports (FIRs), one of which pertains to an alleged washroom tap theft.

Justice Anwar-ul-Haq Pannu presided over the hearing of the plea filed by the PTI leader seeking information about the cases. During the proceedings, the Punjab Police presented a report encompassing all the registered cases against Fawad Chaudhry.

One of the cases, registered under number 889/23, was filed against the PTI leader at the Multan Cantonment Police Station. The complaint, in this case, was lodged by Muzaffar Hanif and concerns the theft of pipes and a tap from a school.

Furthermore, Fawad Chaudhry is also accused of being involved in the theft of electrical wiring from the Khairpur Bhatta Government Primary School.

The report reveals that two cases were registered against the former federal minister at the Sarwar Road and Race Course Police Stations in Lahore, while three cases were registered in Multan Cantonment and one case in Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan.

Additionally, the PTI leader faces cases registered at Attock, Jhelum, and Faisalabad police stations, according to the report.

Expressing concern, Fawad Chaudhry’s lawyer argued that these cases are baseless and politically motivated, urging the court to acquire detailed information about all the cases and prevent the harassment of the former federal minister.

The allegations against Fawad Chaudhry have taken a serious turn, with eleven FIRs filed against him, including one related to the theft of a washroom tap. The submission of the police report sheds light on the range and extent of the accusations faced by the PTI leader.

As the court proceedings continue, it remains to be seen how the allegations against Fawad Chaudhry will be substantiated and whether any evidence will be presented to support the claims made in the FIRs. The PTI leader’s legal team is actively contesting the cases, asserting that they are politically motivated and aimed at causing harassment.

The public and political observers will closely monitor the developments in these cases, as they carry significant implications for Fawad Chaudhry’s political career and the overall political landscape in Pakistan.

Fawad Chaudhry finds himself embroiled in a legal battle as multiple cases, including the alleged theft of a tap, have been filed against him. The Lahore High Court has received the details of these cases, and as the legal proceedings unfold, the public awaits further developments to ascertain the veracity of the allegations against the PTI leader.
