The recent earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on February 6 has left the world in shock. As the death toll continues to rise, people from all over the world have come forward to help the affected regions. Among them is the famous Turkish restaurateur, Nusret Gokce, also known as Salt Bae, who has stepped up to feed 5,000 people every day from the quake-hit areas.

Nusret Gokce is renowned for his chain of Nusr-Et restaurants, where he is known for his signature style of sprinkling salt over meat dishes. However, in the wake of the earthquake, he put his fame to good use by providing aid to the survivors.

The chef shared a video on Instagram, showing a mobile kitchen from his restaurant Nusr Et preparing meals for the survivors. In the caption, he wrote that they aim to serve hot food to 5,000 people every day. The day before the truck reached the affected areas, Salt Bae had also given a virtual tour of the mobile kitchen, calling it the most important and meaningful service in the world for him.

Besides providing food, the chef has been using his platform to raise awareness and gather support from celebrities around the world. He has been sharing video messages of support from celebrities such as J Balvin, Tommy Hilfiger, Riyad Mahrez, Luka Modric, Roberto Carlos, Radamel Falcao, Bruce Buffer, Piers Morgan, and Roberto Mancini, who sent prayers for the people affected by the earthquake.

Another Turkish chef, CZN Burak, has also been contributing to aid the affected regions. He shared video clips of his restaurant staff loading trucks with basic food items and drinking water for Hatay and other provinces of Turkey that were hit by the earthquake. On Monday, he shared video clips of him preparing meals for the survivors and thanked everyone who contributed to the cause.

The earthquake has left a devastating impact on the affected regions, and the aid provided by Salt Bae, CZN Burak, and other volunteers has come as a much-needed relief for the survivors. Their efforts have inspired people around the world to come forward and contribute to the cause. We can only hope that the situation improves soon, and the affected areas receive the support they need to recover.
