On August 17, 2025, Saad and his wife Aroob Jatoi were stopped at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. They were planning to fly to Malaysia when immigration officers detained them.
According to Saad, what seemed like a normal delay turned serious within an hour. Officers from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrived and arrested him. He was handcuffed and taken away, while Aroob was sent home. “They took me to the NC-CIA office in Gulberg. I didn’t know what would happen next,” Saad said in his video.

Charges Against Ducky Bhai:

The NCCIA filed a case against Ducky Bhai under FIR No. 196/2025. He was accused of:
* Promoting illegal gambling apps like Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game
* Electronic fraud and forgery
* Money laundering through these gambling platforms
Officials say they found deleted promotional videos, financial transactions, and WhatsApp messages on his phone that linked him to gambling networks. They claim he worked as a “country manager” for one of these apps without permission from Pakistani authorities.
Under Pakistan’s Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 and the Pakistan Penal Code, if found guilty, Saad could face up to seven years in prison and fines up to Rs. 7 million.

Saad described his time in detention as extremely difficult. He felt hopeless and believed his career was finished.
“I thought Ducky Bhai was over. Everything I worked for was gone,” he said.
But something unexpected happened. While in jail, he learned he had reached 9 million subscribers on YouTube—a goal he had dreamed about for years.
“An officer came and told me, ‘Congratulations, you hit 9 million!’ That moment gave me hope. Maybe this wasn’t the end,” Saad recalled.

In his video, Saad made serious allegations about his treatment in custody. He claimed that NCCIA officials, particularly Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, physically and verbally abused him. “Officer slapped me so many times I lost count, and he kept asking where my money came from,” Saad alleged. Ducky also claimed that officials tried to bribe him, demanding Rs. 70-80 million to drop the case. According to Saad, one investigating officer forced him to transfer over $326,000 (approximately Rs. 9 crore) from his personal cryptocurrency account.
In October 2025, six NCCIA officials, including Sarfraz Chaudhry, were arrested by the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle on charges of misusing authority and taking bribes. An investigation is currently underway.
When contacted by media, an NCCIA spokesperson said the agency maintains a “zero-tolerance policy” toward corruption and that all proceedings are being handled according to the law.

Ducky Bhai Bail:

On November 25, 2025, the Lahore High Court granted Saad bail for Rs. 1 million. He was released from Camp Jail on November 26, 2025 after spending over 100 days in detention.
After his release, his wife Aroob Jatoi posted on Instagram that he would take a break from social media to recover mentally and emotionally.

In his video, Saad addressed his fans with humility and regret.
“Today I speak to you as Saad ur Rehman, not Ducky Bhai. If anyone was hurt by my content or any promotion I did, knowingly or unknowingly, I ask for forgiveness from the entire nation,” he said.
He admitted that he made mistakes and expressed complete confidence in the legal system. “I will cooperate with the court and accept whatever decision the judge makes,” he added.

Saad did not reveal all the details of his case. He thanked unnamed influential people he called “Big Brother” for helping secure his release but refused to identify them.
“Sometimes knowing everything is not necessary. What matters is that I am out,” he said.
He also criticized the rumors and false stories spread by journalists, podcasters, and other content creators during his absence.
“People made up stories. Only I know what truly happened—and I will let that remain a mystery,” he concluded.

Ducky Bhai Case Update:

The legal case against Ducky Bhai is still ongoing. While he is out on bail, the court proceedings continue, and he must cooperate with the investigation.
His return has been met with mixed reactions. Many of his 9 million subscribers have welcomed him back, while others remain critical of the gambling app promotions he allegedly made.
The case has sparked a larger debate in Pakistan about influencer responsibility, the promotion of illegal apps, and corruption within law enforcement agencies.
