Famous Pakistani fashion designer Maria B has sparked a storm on social media after sharing shocking claims about a private party in Lahore. She posted videos and images on Instagram, which she said were sent to her by children who attended the event.
According to Maria B, the party featured devil masks, drag shows, red lighting, and strange upside-down writings. She called it “vulgar” and linked it to Illuminati-inspired satanic themes, warning that such events could harm Pakistan’s culture and values.

Her statement quickly went viral. Many people supported her for speaking out, while others questioned whether her claims were true.
Following the backlash, Lahore police launched an investigation. An FIR was filed at Naseerabad police station, accusing 50–60 people, including transgender persons, under Sections 292, 292-A, and 294 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Police said promoting obscenity “under the guise of a party or photoshoot” was a serious crime.

But the case soon collapsed in court. A Lahore magistrate dismissed the charges, saying no solid evidence was found. The judge noted that the raid lacked proper legal procedures, such as private witnesses or proper permissions. The accused, defended by lawyer Haider Butt, were released.
This controversy arises as Maria B, already known for her outspoken views, has previously criticized events such as the Aurat March and the banned film Joyland.
