Appearing on Samaa TV’s talk show Gup Shab, the outspoken actress shared that while her character on the show was bold and confident, real life in showbiz is filled with superficial bonds.
“What I’ve observed in this industry is that many of these friendships are only for Instagram,” Naeema said. “They look appealing in pictures, but in reality, there’s nothing genuine behind them.”
Naeema didn’t shy away from calling out some of her co-stars, alleging that while they acted like close friends on social media, their behavior off-camera told a different story.
“They acted like they were close to me online, but in real life, they were trying to push me off the stage during events,” she revealed.
Although she didn’t name names, her message was crystal clear—celebrity ‘friendship goals’ are often just PR stunts, not real connections.
Naeema further added that she now keeps her distance from fake bonds, choosing instead to focus on genuine, meaningful relationships.
