Mawra Hocane has encouraged young girls to be financially independent, sharing her thoughts in a recent Instagram video. The actor said her parents taught her the importance of earning and working hard from a young age. She recalled how her mother encouraged her and her sister Urwa to join theater while in school, which helped them develop a strong work ethic.

Mawra emphasized that financial independence gives women a unique confidence, regardless of how supportive or wealthy their family or in-laws might be. She advised girls to value the money they earn through their own hard work.
The actor, who married co-star Ameer Gilani in February, reflected on her personal experiences of building a career while managing personal life. Mawra and Ameer have also worked together in dramas like Sabaat and Neem.

In addition to acting, Mawra is an entrepreneur. Along with her sister Urwa, she launched a brand in 2022 called #WHOCAN, offering casual western wear, festive traditional outfits, and chic accessories. The venture represents their sisterhood and drive for independence.
