Kiara Advani made her first appearance at the Met Gala with a look that stood out for both its elegance and emotional depth. The Indian actress, who is expecting her first child, became the first from her country to attend the prestigious fashion event while proudly displaying her baby bump.

Her outfit, designed by Indian couturier Gaurav Gupta, was titled Bravehearts and celebrated motherhood, strength, and personal transformation. The black off-shoulder gown was paired with an antique gold breastplate, detailed with crystals and tiny ghungroos, symbolising both power and grace. The breastplate featured two heart forms—representing mother and child—connected by a chain resembling an umbilical cord.

Adding further depth, Advani wore a double-panelled cape as a tribute to late fashion icon André Leon Talley, known for his bold silhouettes. Her accessories included a long dangler earring on one side, an ear cuff on the other, and a few statement rings that brought a subtle sparkle to the look.

Her makeup was kept minimal and glowing, with soft smoky eyes, peach-toned lips, and lightly flushed cheeks. Her hair was styled in loose waves, parted at the centre, enhancing the dreamy, effortless appeal of the outfit.

Advani later reflected on the significance of the moment, noting how meaningful it felt to walk the Met Gala red carpet during such a transformative phase in her life. She credited her stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and designer Gaurav Gupta for bringing her vision to life in a way that aligned with this year’s theme, “The Garden of Time.”
