Internet personality Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is once again in the spotlight, for revealing the surprising amount he charged actor Adnan Siddiqui for a birthday greeting.

In a recent video message, Chahat claimed he charged a hefty EUR 250 (approximately PKR 92,500) for a personalized birthday wish to Siddiqui. The revelation quickly gained traction online, drawing a flurry of responses ranging from support to ridicule.

While many fans wished him well for monetizing his fame, others took to social media with sarcastic remarks. One user quipped,

“How much would you charge to disappear from the internet?”

Unfazed by the criticism, Chahat responded in his own style:

“I now charge £100 just for a birthday wish. This is my livelihood. I also charge for appearances at shows and family events.”

Chahat emphasized that his birthday videos are no ordinary greetings.

“I prepare a one- to five-minute-long video that includes compliments and even a song. It’s personalized entertainment,” he explained.

He also claimed that several Pakistani celebrities approach him for promotional content for dramas and other online ventures. “This is my full-time job now. I’m here to entertain, promote your business, support your YouTube channel, and encourage TikTokers,” he said.
