Veteran Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui has found himself at the center of controversy following comments he made about women during a recent Eid special television appearance.
When asked about his romantic personality and what he first notices in a woman, Siddiqui candidly replied, “I usually look at a woman’s feet.” He further elaborated that a person’s feet reflect their hygiene and, in some cases, their personality.
What truly caught public attention, however, was a tongue-in-cheek remark that followed. Adding humor to his statement, Siddiqui quipped, “Also, the woman should be alive.” While meant as a joke, the comment has sparked debate on social media platforms.
Some fans took the response in stride, interpreting it as harmless and characteristic of Siddiqui’s well-known wit. Others, however, found the joke distasteful and insensitive, especially coming from a seasoned actor with a reputation as a family man and industry elder.

The public reaction has been sharply divided. While some viewers defended Siddiqui’s right to humor, others argued that celebrities must exercise caution when joking in public forums, given their influence.
Known for his bold opinions and spontaneous charm, Adnan Siddiqui has previously made headlines for his unfiltered remarks. This incident raises larger questions about the boundaries of humor in media, and whether public figures should be more mindful of the weight their words carry.
