The Government of Punjab has officially announced the winter vacation schedule for all schools across the province. According to the notification, the winter holidays will begin on December 23, 2025, and continue until January 10, 2026.

This schedule applies to both public and private schools, ensuring that all educational institutions across Punjab follow the same break period. The decision aims to maintain a unified and coordinated schedule throughout the province, avoiding confusion between schools and regions.

The announcement has brought excitement among students, who are eagerly waiting to enjoy the cold-weather break with family and friends. Parents also welcomed the move, saying the long holidays will give children time to rest and prepare for the upcoming exams in the new year.

School administrators have been instructed to strictly follow the government’s directive and not to hold any official academic activities during the holiday period. Institutions are also advised to resume normal classes from January 11, 2026, after the completion of the winter break.

The Education Department has reminded schools to complete their syllabus and ensure that all pending assignments are finished before the holidays begin. With the weather expected to become colder in the coming weeks, the early announcement has been appreciated by teachers and parents alike. It allows families to plan their travel and winter activities in advance.

In short, the Punjab government’s winter vacation plan brings a cheerful pause to the academic calendar, giving students and teachers a much-needed opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy the festive season before returning to school in the new year.
