Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a comprehensive education relief package for students in flood-hit districts, including tuition and admission fee waivers.
The package aims to ensure uninterrupted education for students by easing financial pressures on families struggling with post-disaster recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
One key feature includes waiving first semester tuition fees for all students from the affected areas, providing immediate relief to vulnerable households facing financial difficulties.
Additionally, first-year BS students in flood-hit districts will be exempted from paying admission fees, allowing broader access to higher education despite difficult conditions.
