The wait is finally over for thousands of students across Pakistan as Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) announced the O Level results for the May–June 2025 session on Tuesday, August 19.
This year, more than 100,000 students from over 700 schools nationwide appeared in Cambridge qualifications, including O Levels, IGCSEs, and A Levels. The results mark a major milestone as candidates prepare to take their next steps in higher education.

For many students, the announcement was an emotional moment. One O Level candidate, who completed all her exams in a single year, said she was overwhelmed after securing 3A*s, 3As, and 2Bs. “Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha mein kya bol rahi hoon, but I am happy… I think I am happy with my result,” she said, noting that grade thresholds in English and Mathematics were higher this year.
Another student shared that she walked into school with nerves. “I told myself I couldn’t take my results, but eventually I did. I didn’t get exactly what I wanted, yet I am happy and content with what I achieved.”

Teachers also celebrated the achievements. An O Level Business Studies teacher expressed pride in her class, saying: “I was responsible for 32 students, and not a single one got a U. All of them are clear. I am grateful.”
The release of the O Level results follows the announcement of AS and A Level results earlier this month, completing the Cambridge May–June exam session for 2025.
