ISLAMABAD – Amid intensifying border tensions and recent Indian military provocations, Pakistan’s political and military leadership has issued a stern and final warning to India: any further aggression will be met with a comprehensive and targeted retaliation, including potential strikes on key economic installations.

According to official sources, Pakistan has drawn up a clear response strategy to counter any future hostilities initiated by India. This includes not only the targeting of high-value military assets but also the possibility of economic retaliation, signaling a major escalation in the South Asian security landscape.

“Pakistan’s resolve is firm. Any misadventure by India will be met with a forceful and proportionate response, including actions against strategic economic targets,” said a senior government official privy to the national security deliberations.

The leadership emphasized that the country is fully prepared — both militarily and politically — to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The coordinated stance indicates a high level of civil-military alignment in Islamabad regarding the current threat perception from the eastern border.

In recent public addresses and media briefings, military spokespersons have repeatedly highlighted India’s aggressive posture and attempts to provoke conflict under false narratives. The latest warning signals that Pakistan is shifting from a posture of restraint to one of assertive deterrence.
