Tajikistani singer and social media sensation Abdu Rozik has been released on conditional bail after being detained at Dubai International Airport over the weekend. The 21-year-old, widely known for his appearance on Bigg Boss 16, was held for questioning following his arrival from Montenegro.
According to Abdu’s management team, the social media influencer was not formally arrested but was interrogated by authorities. The reason for the complaint remains undisclosed, and Dubai officials have yet to issue an official statement.
Despite the brief detention, Abdu Rozik made a high-profile public appearance on the same evening at the India International Influencers Awards at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights. In posts shared on his social media accounts, he was seen celebrating with fans and expressing gratitude to the event organizers—without referencing the incident.

Abdu’s legal team has announced plans to challenge misinformation currently circulating in the media, emphasizing that he remains committed to transparency and legal compliance.
His release comes with conditional bail, including restrictions on international travel until the matter is resolved.
Abdu Rozik holds a UAE Golden Visa and has lived in Dubai for several years. He rose to fame through viral musical performances and reality TV appearances, becoming one of the most beloved influencers in the region. Recently, he also launched his own restaurant brand, Habibi, in the UK.
In 2024, he faced scrutiny in India due to an Enforcement Directorate money laundering probe, though he was not named as an accused.
