Residents of Lahore continue to endure sweltering temperatures on the third day of Eid ul Azha, as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast highs reaching 46°C on Sunday.
As of Sunday afternoon, the current temperature in the city had already climbed to 38°C, with no signs of relief in sight. Authorities have warned that the intense heatwave is likely to persist over the next five days, urging the public to take precautionary measures.
The PMD has confirmed that there is no likelihood of rainfall in Lahore for the next ten days, which could worsen the dry and scorching conditions across the region.
